Industrial Design
Industrial Design balances form and function to create a functionally elegant and aesthetically pleasing product. Innovation, invention, ideation and fantasy will all contribute to a new solution that satisfies the end-user's needs. The first step in our ID process is to identify the typical end-user, and then determine what they are looking for. This results in a User Needs List that becomes the foundation for the subsequent concept renderings and form/function studies.

Mechanical Engineering
Through the use of 3D solid modeling software, complex designs can be quickly created and analyzed (including Finite Element Analysis). This allows more design iterations, resulting in a more refined product. Once the 3D model is complete, it can be sent out for rapid prototyping and then tested. Once approved, these same files are used to produce production tooling.

Model Making & Rapid Prototyping
Not only does rapid prototyping (SLA, SLS, FDM) yield a beautiful model, but it will also enable proofing of the 3D database before it is used to make tooling. Multiples can easily be made with urethane casting techniques for sales samples, focus groups, product photography and functional analysis.

 

Manufacturing Support
Our experience in manufacturing support and production processes has resulted in effective communication techniques of complex production issues with our global partners. This makes the transition from design to production seamless for our clients. We can work with a client's factory to support a given program, or can source a qualified factory with our production partner, ATS.
